James Wilson is the world’s leading authority on strength and conditioning for the unique demands of mountain biking. He has helped hundreds of riders around the world improve their fitness and skill levels through his proprietary combination of strength, cardio, mobility and skills training. He has worked with riders in all disciplines, including XC, Super D, Marathon Racing, Stage Races, Mega-Avalanche Racing, DH and everyday weekend warriors.

He has trained 3 National Champions, several World Cup Racers and was instrumental in the development of Aaron Gwin, the top US downhill racer and currently the top ranked DH rider in the world. He currently works with the Yeti/ Fox Racing Shox racing team and appeared in several top industry magazine and websites including:

James has helped changed the way rider’s around the world think about training for mountain biking and has become the “go to guy” for top skills coaches and others in the industry when they need to know how to improve their fitness and strength levels. Based out of Grand Junction, CO he can be found working with riders in his training facility and out on the trail testing his training programs on the rugged trails the Western Slope is famous for.

James is married to Kiele Wilson, a fitness coach who specializes in women’s fitness, and has a daughter, Shilo, who reminds him everyday that riding is supposed to be fun and not to take himself too seriously.
